Dear Dad

Itís about time I was writing you a letter, donít know much news except that I am fine and hope you all are too. Iíve got the morning off. I was on patrol duty last night is the reason.

I got your letter the other day with the small pictures in it, they were good. Iím always glad to get pictures. Some time when you write send me the picture Betty and I had taken at Burwell please.

Sure is a nice day here. The temperature is about the same here, I think. The nights are cool and I get lots of sleep generally, so I donít think you should worry any more. Never very tired either

Iím not going to write a long letter just this page to let you know I had got the letter. Suppose you are farming to beat all. Wish I was there to help you. Guess Iíll just have to wait for a while for that tho.

I hope they have a good dinner today. I didnít get up for breakfast so am rather hungry. Please excuse the short letter. Iíll write more soon. So long for now and good luck.

Lots of Love

Your Son Wesley
