Dearest Mother & All

Just a few lines to let you know I am well and in the best of health. We just landed from another boat ride can't tell you anything about it except that the new A.P.O. is 708, I suppose you thought I never was going to write, I hope you never worried but I know you did.

How is everything at home I hope fine I haven't heard from you for quite some time. I got a letter from Evelyn, She told me about Arts and Delores's new baby girl she also said the weather there was real nice, she was thinking about fixing up her yard. Evelyn sure has been good to write. She told about being at Jean's shower, I got a letter from Jean about 2 weeks ago telling me all about her wedding she sure sounds happy I'm for her 100%, I'm going to Glenn pretty soon.

I got a letter from Aunt Ruth she said maybe you were going to make her a visit. I sure hope if you do you have a good time wish it was me you were visiting instead but may as well wish for a piece of the moon. Anyhow I wouldn't want you here.

Well Mother I'm going to write Evelyn and Luarence a letter and go to bed don't worry about your sorrel topped son he's looking out for his self.

I'll try and write pretty often now tell everyone the new APO no I may not get to write everyone too son but I'll do my best.

Goo night and sweet dreams everything's going to be all right.

Lots of Love
