Dearest Folks

Gee Iím in an awful hurry. We are going on a night problem at 7:45 and itís almost that time now. I never wrote last night so figured I better tonight. Everything is fine. I got 2 swell letters from you yesterday, but none today. I havenít written to Virginia in a long time. Hope she donít think Iím mad at her.

It rained all day today, so didnít do too much. We had our big hike yesterday 22 miles with 70 lb packs, so was too tired to write last night.

I got a letter from Betty today and yesterday both so am pretty well satisfied.

Well folks must hurry. I havenít got my leggings on yet. I wouldnít wear any only the snakes are so bad you almost got to.

I havenít got my Graphic yet this week so donít know much news. Well goodnight. I feel real good.

Oh, yes, I got to go on guard tomorrow and KP Saturday so probably will be washing post and pans when youíre reading this.

Lots of Love
