Dearest Mother

There isnít any news but couldnít go to bed without writing something. I wrote to Betty and decided I better not slite my other sweetheart.

I just got back from a show. They give a free show every Monday night out here. The USO puts it on (moving picture) it was a western, not too good but I enjoyed it.

I didnít get any letters from no one but Betty today. I got the Graphic tho, and Iíll get some tomorrow.

Looks like it might rain again tonight. It does every night then gets hot as the devil in the day time.

I see by the Graphic all the boys names that registered. Donít seem like all those guys should be that old and there is quite a bunch.

We never worked too hard today and tomorrow donít know what weíll do. Havenít heard anything about nothing.

Well guess the big boy better go to bed and get some sleep its 11:00 oíclock and we get up at 5:30. Still have good eats and I sleep like a log. Goodnight and

Lots of Love
