Wesley to Folks, 07/28/1942

July 28, 1942 (Tues) Camp Forrest Tennessee

Dear Folks,

Must write a line or two to let you know I am ok and feel real fine. I got 3 letters from you yesterday and yours and Betty's today. Sure was glad too.

We don't work very hard just kill time. We been studying compasses and etc the eats are pretty good and I sleep good.

Last night I went to a free show they had here for the boys Henry Aldrege for President sure was good.

Mother, you don't need to send me anything for a while the boys here don't wear pajamas in the summer time, some do in winter tho.

I'm glad you are getting started to hay and hope you have good luck and get lots. Has it rained much up there lately?

I got the pictures of Laurence and Jean they sure are good. I'll keep them a while and then send them back probably.

Gee folks, I can't think of any news. I got a long letter from Aunt Ruth yesterday. She said Lloyd sent his poetry home. Guess he sure liked it said to have dad write him some more. Also got a swell letter from Lois and Aunt Mattie today.

Well folks guess I better sign off and write to Ginny I didn't write to her last night either. Good night.
