Dear Folks

I got your letter today that you wrote after you got my letter saying I was leaving. Well it was all a mistake or mixup or something. Anyway we’re not leaving for a while and I am going to get a furlough. I don’t know just when but it won’t be long. Some of the boys have already left and I don’t know if I’ll be drawn in the next bunch or not. It will only be for 7 or 8 days but that will be better than nothing.

I’m sorry I had to write that letter but it’s just what they told us.

When we all get back from our furloughs we will move I think but just to some other camp.

Well folks I hope this finds you feeling as good as I do.

I got al letter from Uncle Add today. When we get our furloughs they may not give us any time to write about them. The boys that went today didn’t have time. Well good night folks will be seeing you.
