Dear Folks

Just a line to let you know where I am. We are located just a mile or so out of Tullahoma Tennessee at Camp Forrest, so my address will be

I don’t know where Lloyd is so if you know find out and write me. The boys are all scattered out. There is a few down here that I know, Jerome Baum and Wallace O’Connell but they’re in a different barracks than this one.

Hope everybody is all right. I wrote Betty and will write some more of the folks tomorrow.

Wish I could be home on my birthday, but I know you will be thinking about me.

We will be here about 8 weeks I think, then we will be stationed at our trade. I’ve been classified as a skilled worker.

Guess I better tell you bye for now. There is about 300 new boys in here today. Some of the boys have radios so I get to hear some music and entertainment.
